Hey all new to the forums, thought I would post my first attempt at a AC system for my home, positive and negative input would be appreciated mainly positive if possible.
Specs are as follows and a little explanation of each choice.

- 2x 380w mono half cell panels
# mainly chosen because they were on sale at €45 each#

- 1.6kw 12v Powmr off-grid hybrid inverter
# I didn't want a particularly large inverter for efficiency reasons and my average load was going to be around 500w this seemed like the best choice as there was very few options here and also the price €120 for something branded even if it was Chinese #

- 160Ah 3k 12v flooded Deep cycle battery
# I went with Pb because I was worried about temps hitting 50c and didn't like the idea of lithium going boom also as this is purely a backup for power outages from what id researched was a better option than lithium, finding one in stock was a nightmarei was planning on getting a 190Ah Yuasa but everyone id ordered got cancelled due to stocking issues so i ended up with this highly rated thai brand the most expensive component at $200 #

- other small components such as breakers, SPD's, wire, mounting rails etc all came to about $60

We haven't really had any super sunny days but the panels seem to be performing ok Screenshot_20240606-211502~2.png

My install yes I know the battery isolator needs some form of enclosure and my rs285 cable needs to be clipped, also should I also fuse the DC input or is the 16amp breaker ok on its own?
