Need Help to Add Battery to My Existing Grid-tied System

i am tied to the grid but no battery at all. a 9kw solar system.. i just got a Sunpal Lithium 10 kwh battery (model PP - E1), and i am unsure how to add it. do i just connect it to the existing inverter? will it need a shutoff or is the Delta Solivia 7.5 inverter a smart inverter. please help, i do not generate enough to cover my usage and whatever i send to the grid is lost. see attached images of my setup.. thank you in advance for your help

I didn't see anything about connecting a battery. Your inverter may not be battery capable.

How are they connected. I didn't see anything in the manual for the 7.6 (I couldn't find a manual for a 7.5):
