I have purchased some equipment some of which may not be usable. Its all new in box but older equipment. There are two inverters and 15-235W panels. One is a grid tie inverter GROWATT 3600MTL which I'm sure can be easily used with the panels in series but this will not allow me any energy storage. The second inverter is Lantrun Grid Hybrid Solar inverter SCI 4024. Lantrun is no longer in business from what i can tell. This unit specs are
DC INPUT: 24VDC
PV INPUT: 30-55 VDC
AC INPUT 120VAC 60HZ, 40 A MAX, 1
AC OUTPUT 120VAC 60HZ, 4000W MAX, 1
Solar charge controller: MMPT 40AMP
My question is, can i install both inverters and use the Lantrun to charge the batteries and send power back to the panel? I think this would be the easiest way to set it all up, if it will work.
