Hello from Tennessee.
I have 4 - 100 watt panels. Panel 1-100 watt, vmp 18 volt, imp 5.56, voc 22.0, isc 5.96.
Panels 2,3,4-100 watt, vmp 17.5 volt, imp 5.72, voc 21.08, isc 6.22
They are connected in parallel and the wiring from the panels are 12 gauge connected to 10 gauge wire going into a terminal box with a buss bar. From the buss bar the wire is 4 gauge running approximately 20 to 25 feet to my garage. All panels are grounded together and earth grounded as well. Panels are tilt able and I have no obstructions. The panels are facing south. My question is I keep burning up 1000 watt grid tie inverters. They don't last no longer then 3 or 4 months. I have tried the cheap ones and the more expensive ones. Not sure What is going on? I have checked the panels individually and found no problem with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I guess what am I doing wrong! Thanks!
