Hello, does anyone know if there is a tutorial video showing how to open up a Valence U27-12XP battery? I have 4 dead ones, I couldn't revive. Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I've watched this video prior, but don't find notches for top cover on thec2nd generation(in green). I guess I have to make my own notches by cutting or sawing off the bottom part where glued together. Any hazard to be cautioned before opening? Appreciated.

I opened one up after I fried my balance leads. Ended up cutting/breaking the top rim off in order to separate the solvent joined lid and case. View attachment 50414

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if heat gun would help to loosen the solvent top and bottom before opening.

Not if it's solvent bonded, which will fuse them. However, I wouldn't expect separation would be possible and there it is. So, maybe. Thank you for sharing this.
