I have a 12V blade fuse holder box, and one of the 10A fuses run the fridge + some low power lights - total 7-8 Amps. The plastic started melting a bit, and I saw that the 12V+ is corroded. I had not applied any kind of grease or anything.
I plan to cut the ends, and use a fresh ring terminal to wire it up again.
Is there some kind of grease I should use? I was thinking if cleaning and connecting the lugs, and then after that smearing it with regular non conductive or di-electric grease. This way contact is there, no grease inside that, but it will be protected from the elements.
Thoughts?
