I watched a video on utube last night where they are using bifocal panels mounted on a 90 degree angle and in a east to west orientation. They are claiming about a 20% increase in production.
They think it is because of the cooling factor of the angle.
Any thought's on this?

Thanks,
i just watched it once and was interested because of my space limitations.
If that would work I could add about another 125 panels in the form of a fence if I wanted to.

I see it happening, theres a solar farm (probably 10-15 acres) going in here in northern michigan and when i drove by i wondered if they realized their panels arent facing south 😅

Im not sold on it, sunlight during rise and set here is pretty weak. Peak mid day sun is where i see the best numbers and east/west panels will just suck. Hopefully they did more research than me and it pays off...
