"Powerwall" with Enphase M215 - Inverter logic

@GXMnow thanks for all the detail! It seems like you have a great setup for your rate plan. I do my metering through IoTaWatt (one for each of three panels) so the easiest way to pull data is via REST, but it seems like I could just mirror your system and eliminate the extra micro inverter I was going to use for a fixed export.

Do I understand correctly that you are just using modbus and no hardwired analog or digital IO from the PLC?
Yes, the PLC is reading and writing ModbusTCP data over ethernet from the Schneider XW-Pro hybrid battery inverter, and reading the power usage data from the house over ModbusRTU on RS-485 serial.

The setup that 400bird is using with the Raspberry Pi is using a hardware hat to read his power production and consumption data. It started as an open source energy monitor system. He just added the code to use the energy data to control the inverter.
