I have been playing around with an all in one for a few months and am having some issues.

I would love to know what I’m doing wrong so any input is much appreciated.

I have attached a hand drawn diagram of my set up.
I have 1260w of solar.
4x 100ah battle borns in series (48v)
Mpp Lv5048
120v mains

I have 120v mains hooked up and it shows as charging when I switch off solar array.

I have a 48v line feeding straight from battery bank to some 12v/24v transformers for low voltage circuits.

The problem I am having is the batteries draining.

the only devices I have running is the mpp and a 24v whynter fridge/freezer.

Why is the mpp not using mains power to keep things charged when sun goes down and preventing the batteries draining?
Is it better I run fridge on mains through the mpp? It can run on either.

how do I protect the batteries from low voltage cut off on the feed I am using to my transformers? I have seen a victron 48v low voltage protect device, would that be the right way to go?

Also when I do have power up and running, using a jigsaw or grinder through the inverter causes it to cut out and gives faulty code 72.
