I was recently reviewing Renegy's 800 W 12 V kit, it says :

What Is Included in the 800W Solar Panel Kit?

The 800W solar panel kit comes with many of the same materials as the 400W solar panel kits, such as the mounting Z brackets, solar Y branch connectors, and 20-foot 10 AWG AK. Additionally, the 800W solar panel kit comes with a total of eight 100W panels, a Rover Li 40A MPPT charge controller, two-foot 8 AWG fuse cable, eight-foot 8 AWG tray cable, 20A in-line fuse, and 40A ANL fuse, and a BT-1 Bluetooth module.
Seems like 8 100W panels in a 12v system should need a charge controller rated for higher wattage or 800/12=66 amps. WHat do you guys think. got it off this page:https://www.renogy.com/blog/differe...any Batteries Do I,just need that one battery.

Current connected sell an 800W kit, they use a Victron 150/60 60A charge controller which can actually deliver the full 800W theoretical:

Well worth the difference in price IMO to go with the Current Connected option

Edit to add:
