I have a small Solar setup in my Cargo Van. I bought these 26650 A123 cells configured for 40v packs running 96 cells with it's own BMS. My question is I am going to purchase the DALY BMS do I just wire the polarity B+ in the Parallel series no matter how many cells I have in the parallel? When I watch some of the videos people setting up their BMS these people are using the single 4S LifePO4 cells. I have a lot more cells in parallel. I am going with 4S8P configs.

I already tried searching the forum. I didnt find anything.

A couple of comments.

Daly BMSs are sold on Amazon so they are easy to purchase which is why I have the 4S bluetooth version.

Energy is energy. As long as your make 4 cells that the BMS can read, it should work. Its not optimal since each cell is composed of really 8 cells. To me, you have 8 failure points for that "single cell".

The 4s Daly BMS that I have, by default, is configured for LiFePo4. You will need to change the voltage settings like (low disconnect, high disconnect, SOC% to voltage level, etc)
