We have a 48V EG4-LL (V1&V2) battery bank and an EG4 6000-EX. The whole system is in a warehouse some 30 yards from the house.

We would like to read the battery information (SOC, current, temp) in a fixed display in the kitchen or via cellphone. The information of at least 1 battery would be enough.

What is the simplest solution to do that? The warehouse has Wifi connection.

Solar assistant can do what you want. Add a tablet and bring up the SA interface and youre good to go. All this assumes you have network connectivity in the warehouse and home.

Which is the right cable to buy with SA for the EG4 LL V2 communication? I see there are several types but none said compatible with EG4 batteries.
I just used the one the came with my batteries. Should look like this: https://signaturesolar.com/rs485-usb-battery-comm-cable-archive/
and got this to connect all the RJ45 cables together

Make sure you set the dip switches correctly

I read some bad comments about SA. Apparently signature solar doesnt encourage its usage. Have you had good experience with it?
EG4 has relented:
