Reset country code on Growatt SPH 5000 invertor

My installer was a cowboy and is now out of business. I plan to check and maybe reset the Country Code on my SPH 5000 invertor. I have found from this forum that the necessary 'secret code (key password)' to access the appropriate menu is 1111, and as I'm in the UK plan to change the code (if necessary) to G98 or G99.

What are the possible consequences of this, please?
