Seeking advice: repurpose small setup for home space heater

Repurposing my 12v system is not viable. 12v lead acid batteries are not well suited for a 1500w 120v application. My charge controller can handle either 12 or 24 volts so that’s out of the equation as well as I want to create a 48v solution. I’m left with one solar panel to repurpose and that’s ok. Depending upon my solution I may just get new panels and keep it simple.

This thread isn’t relevant any longer so I will create a new thread addressing a 48v solution that I will likely build from scratch.
