Hi Everyone.
I have a SM 3200 24 hybrid inverter. It has been relatively smoothe for 2 years but recently developed a fault. It is shutting down with an 07 fault displayed despite no loads on the system. By process of elimination I believe the issue is coming from the solar panel side or the charge controller built into the hybrid inverter. If I have my solar panel breaker ON my display begins to flash random numbers and symbols before it stops with a fault code after about 1-2hrs of being on. When the breaker is off, there is no issue with the system.
Firstly. Does anyone have this inverter? It's made by Sun Rays Power Systems in China. I have made multiple attempts to contact the manufacturer to see if they sell replacement parts but also to glean if the software/firmware may need an update. My inverter is now 4 years from manufacture date and I'm feeling it may be due at least a firmware update? If anyone has any knowledge of this device please chime in with what you know. Any help re firmware or the like would be hugely appreciated. Attached, are pics of the inverter. Thanks
