Solar Edge Autotransformer vs Growatt vs Victron

Looking into purchasing one of these autotransformers to use as a way to boost a 120v generator to 240v for limited application. The exact set up would be a small inverter generator like a predator 3500 that takes the 30 amp 120v outlet and inputs that into an autotransformer. The autotransformer could then output 3000+ watts to say a 240v well pump under 3/4 hp or so, or a simple 240 welder for random applications.

The main question is whats the consensus on quality of unit vs price here. I was considering either the solar edge auto transformer or the 5k growatt unit.

I know HighTechLab on youtube had a video on the solar edge and I know he's a member here.

The Solar Edge, and Growatt 5k are pretty much the same thing in different enclosues.
I prefer the smaller form factor of the Solar Edge. And it appears to be more robust.
But either would serve the purpose.
