Solar panel defect opinions?

Hi guys

I’m using 3 x 200w Renogy panels on my camper van; wired in series.

I got up on my roof today to check things out after 5-6 months of having them installed. I noticed this on ONE of the panels. After doing some research tonight it seems like it could be a hot spot but at the time I didn’t know to check the bottom of the panel for any damage. Will need to check later.

Does this look like a hot spot to you guys? Performance seems like normal past few days, max I pulled was 520w from 600w total.

Doesn't look like there is any metal in that area that would rust, so potentially yes. Get a thermal camera and check temp under load.
