I am building a ground mount system that will hold 18 of my 250w solar panels (Canadian solar CS6P-250px). I am charging my 3 eg4 48v 100ah server rack batteries with this charger

and using a grid tie inverter with power limiter to offset some of my electrical usage overnight using the battery storage to power the inverter. My question is if I wire them in 3 series for 30.1 v x 3 =90.3 volts and 6 parallel connections I think that would equal 8.30 x 6 = 49.8 amps. Is that correct ? And if so does that mean I would need 6 gauge wire to my charge controller to handle 50 amps ? I would wire the panels with more in series but the controller will only handle up to 145v input. The wire run to the house would be about 100 ft. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks
