Solis 3P 10kW RHI Hybrid HV Force 1 not starting without starter kit.

My new Solis 3P 10kW RHI Hybrid HV Force 1 won't start with using a starter kit. I'm working in retro mode so there are no panels connected to the Solis. I have an old SolarEdge with 13 panels that run seperately. In the beginning when the installer put in the system the never used a starter kit and the battery supplied the DC to the Solis. When I switch on the battery I can see the Solis responding but after a few seconds the screen goes dead. The only way to get everything online is te connect the starterkit and disconnect it again when the system runs. The battery is 45% full. Is there a setting that needs to change in order to get the Solis started without a starter kit?

Can you explain what you mean by the starter kit? A schematic diagram of how your Solis is connected would be useful too.

Maybe is referring to a precharge resistor?
