Solis S6 => how to know the import from the grid

Hi, greeting from France,

i didn't find the solution yet myslef so i explain here my problem.


I have a classic solis inverter (S6-GR1P 3K), without battery, no hybrid, the "classic " one. i have 2975 W of solar pannel as well. system is working good enough for now.
I have the wifi gateway and the solis cloud app.

it seems that is was possible with inverter to have a specific view :
from kWh by solar station to
- kWh consumed from load
- kWh exported to grid,
- kWh imported from the GRID.


i did purchase an ACREL ACR10R for that, recommanded by the origninal solis document.
i did plug it "right enough"to have the power in the screen of the meter.



SO first of all, i have this view on the app : only production per day.



and my goal is to have this view (print screen from guy in facebook) using data on imported/ exported in grid.



So, what i have done.

following advice, I install the acrel ACR10R using this set up :


I set the acrel using thoss parameter :

Bus addr 0001
Braun : 9600
node : none

My acrel is flashing green on run
Flashing red on "COM" that seems to be good aswel.
the acrel give me correct U, I and P (W).




on the Solis, i've used what i've seen on the web concerning this procedure :
1°) set of grid
2°) put 24h => enable ( to see night consumption)
3°) internal EPM :
1ph EPM => ACR10R16TE
mode : meter on grid
Back Flow 3500 kW (i have 3000 installed)

BUT when i go to "information", no information of exported kWh, 0000,0 kWh.


the set up doesn't work, Solis app don't give me export or inport power at all, only Solar panel -> LOAD.
this is what i get right now...




what am i missing ?

I don't have the Solis cloud or web apps, so not sure about those. But it will be necessary to make sure that the Solis is receiving the data from the Acrel first. Obviously if the Solis isn't receiving the data it won't be able to upload your data to China for you to see on your phone.

As you say, it would appear that the Acrel is working, because it is showing the correct information on the Acrel LCD.

I have the S5 Solis with a big screen, so not familiar with the smaller screen of the S6. However, does the Solis give any information about grid usage on its LCD screen.

If my Acrel is disconnected from the Solis (via the RS485 lead) I see alarm messages that say something like GRID-METER-FAIL and it shows RS485 failure on the screen.

So, I'd check that part is working first, then hopefully someone else who uses the Solis cloud app can help you further.

actually, the solis cloud will show what the inverter is doing, and right now the inverter is not doing anything new with the acrel.

So
1°) no information about any r485 information on the S6 as i found.
2°) how can i see if acrel is emitting anything in direction of the Solis inverter ?

so first of all, did the meter set up is correct to your point of view ?

Hi

few updates from testing :

Acrel is flashing red for "com".
if i unplug the wire between acrel and inverter, "com" is stopping from flashing. if i change wire from the black and red, acrel stop flashing.

Acrel il giving correct Power ( i have a shelly em that give me the same data if i put the CT in the same Area.

for the inverter
I did acces to parameter from bluetooth (very convenient) using the app.

this is the current parameter :
if anyone see something weird please tell me.
