As a retired auto mechanic, I am familiar with simple 12v toggle switches as used in autos and old aircraft. However, I am told NOT to use 110vac "wall switches" to engage circuits. I have seen some really good-looking switches & enclosures on a few Videos from Australia and New Zealand. Did a search on Amazon, and came up with some Marine stuff like this... https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Voltmeter-Cigarette-Overload-Protection/dp/B07T4P6YT7/
I am not really happy with that, so what do others recommend..???

AC switches take advantage of the fact that 60 times per second there's zero volts across them (that is the arc automatically extinguishes before damage); unless specifically rated for DC it's not a good idea to not use them as they just can't handle it. That's the theory, for practice - sorry - I've no idea who makes good DC switches. The one you linked sure looks spiffy.
