Hit the jackpot and found 2 BMS' I ordered years ago and never hooked up. Want to test them out without hooking up to a 48v battery. Is there a way I can test these with a bench power supply, I have a 30v-10a one but looks like I can get a deal on a 60v-5a one on amazon.

How can you meaningfully test a BMS without connecting it to cells?

You could use a string of 16 resistors in series and put ~50 volts across them and let the BMS measure the voltage drop over each one.

This thread can be deleted, realized it was not a useful question after I posted.
