Another week gone by and it's already one week gone in May. Where does the time go?

Any plans for the weekend? Got some exciting lawn care to do? Spring cleaning? Working on your favorite solar project? Throwe some shrimp on the bar-b?

It looks like some great weather across most of the US, so get out and enjoy do something.

Working at the mother-in-law's installing a dryer vent -- well, I was supposed to do that over the weekend ... but ended up helping with the taxes. She got an audit letter in January, somehow an IRA rollover looked like it was a disbursement and they wanted tax $ on it, penalty payments, and dire threats of a full audit -- so we wrote a letter and provided the proof. But she's been in such a tizzy and so spun up she's not finished the 2020 taxes; so needed to help with that. Poor woman has been freaked out for weeks, wish she'd said something earlier. She's also so afraid she'll be audited she's not taking some deductions TT says she's entitled to. Then some company dumped a bunch of pipe in her yard, which wouldn't have been so bad, but they paid her "rent" for it, and the 1099-misc doesn't match the $ received. Drilled through the concrete block yesterday, will install the vent today, then need to do some carpentry, then move everything back, then update the 2020 taxes with any changes (she's reviewing them) then take some asprin ;-)
