Lets say this is my set up, i have solar 4 panels = 500 watts - 1 Tesla Model S battery and a 2nd dedicated 24 Volt Alternator with a 40 Amp output.
Whats the best way to tie all these 2 together?

Is there a solar Charge controller that has an auxiliary alternator input?
as i would love to just have one box that does it all instead of an outboard 24V to 24V dc charger.
i would love to see what some of you 24V guys have done or using also wiring diagrams would be a big plus.

The http://evtv.me guys goes over some of the problems with charging lilo* via an alternator when reviewing his Tesla based RV kit. also a good video
