Using other brand batteries as an expansion battery for a solar generator, can it be done?

Hey gang, I’ve been reading and watching for quite a while but haven’t had this specific question answered.

Is it possible to use expansion batteries like the EG4 51.2v battery with another brand solar generators?

Examples of solar gene would be:
-Zendure 4600
-Pecron 1500LFP
-Ecoflow Delta Pro

I know you can charge the solar generator from a random battery source, but can they act as a seamless expansion battery?

If we are to run into this not being possible, is it because of the adaptor or the internal communication of these batteries?

Help me understand why it appears this isn’t being done.

For an expansion of the battery. The battery nominal voltage must be the same.

Meaning if it’s a 51.2v main generator battery, it will need to have a 51.2v expansion battery to match correct?
Or a 12v system to a 12v expansion battery?
