We purchased a new 2022 Outdoors RV 28BKS. So this is the new system: 1.64kw of panels, Victron 150/70 smart controller, Victron smart shunt, 600ah (3 206ah) SOK lithium (parallel), Victron Phoenix 3000/12 inverter, welding cables (<1% drop) and appropriate fuses/breakers/switches.

Is it normal for that inverter to be humming a little? Volts/amps are good, it's only powering the absorption fridge for now, which is consuming ~261 watts. Just checking before I try the microwave or ac.

None of the other inverters I have owned over the years made any noise other than fan of course.

I'm guessing that the hum comes from the big iron transformer.

I haven't tried to pin point the source yet. We are boondocking in the Arizona desert, so I don't have my mechanic's stethoscope. I'm going to explore grounding first.
