Victron smart dongle disappears

I am having trouble keeping the smart dongle active in my list of devices in Victron connect.

I can get it to show up if I reboot the system and turn phone off and on. However as soon as I turn on the Multiplus it falls off the list of devices

I believe that is expected behavior. I'm assuming you have the dongle connected to your Multiplus to add bluetooth connectivity to it. In place of the dongle in Victron Connect you should see your Multiplus. You can select the Multiplus in the list and then select the gear icon in the upper right to open the Multiplus settings and then select the three dots in the upper right and select product info.

Should look similar to the screenshot below. This will show you both the Multiplus and dongle. The dongle is providing bluetooth connectivity and won't be visible as a standalone item in VC once you have it connected to another component.
