WEIZE Battery 21.5v and MPP Solar PIP All In One - Can it wake it?

I just received a Weize battery and unfortunately it was at 21.5v, just around the disconnect voltage. I connected it to my new MPP Solar pip 2724lv-mr, and the battery voltage went to 0 - I presume the battery's low voltage protection kicked in and cut the voltage...

Can I use the all-in-one to charge the battery by connecting to the wall outlet? Is it safe to plug the all in one to AC power with it turned off since the batter is not providing it any power?

Did you use a pre-charge resistor? If not, the surge from charging the inverter caps when you connected the cables likely triggered the short circuit protection. Very common issue on all LFP batteries.
