I am planning on buying an EV for my next vehicle, and I would like to charge it, at least partially, with solar. Assuming all I have is a brand new 280ah 48v battery, what would be the easiest way to 240v charging? Does it always have to involve 2 inverters?

(Currently, I have a Growatt 3000TL 24v, but I do not mind selling it to move everything to 48v.)

It depends on how fast you plan to charge the vehicle...

There are some 240v inverters out there, but they may be 5 to 6kw.
If you want more charging power you will have to parallel them (240v inverter), or put one on each outgoing 120v leg (120v inverters).
