Wiring 8 200 ah lithium batteries in 2S4P confused

I have 8-200 AH li Time plus batteries at 12 volts. The support from the battery manufacture told me I needed to connect my batteries in 2 series and 4 parallel configuration And would have a 24 volt 800 AH battery bank. They send me this diagram and I am so confused on if this is correct and if it is how do I connect them and be safe.

The diagram is correct.
For safety, Remove all jewelry, watches etc.
Cover the terminals you are not currently working on so you don't accidentally short them.
Wear gloves if it makes you feel better but not necessary.
Wear safety glasses.
Torque to specification.

Could you help me understand where to start. I have no issues making the cables but I am confused on what section I should do first.

For simplicity, you could wire them starting with 1 then 2 then 3 etc. I would suggest you wire the batteries to the busbars last.
