Thoughts on wiring 8 lifepo4 batteries for 48 volts...

Hi all,

I have 8 100ah LifePo4 batteries and looking for opinions on wiring. I already have 4 batteries in series and using a battery balancer (HC02) recommended by a member of this page and it's working great. I just received 4 more batteries and wondering if I should create another 48 volt bank and then connect to bus bars etc.?

or...

Connect batteries in parallel pairs for 12v 200ah, then connect those 4 pairs in series with the balancer to create one large 48 volt 200ah balanced bank?

Pros and cons and opinions greatly appreciated...

I would duplicate the existing with more balancers etc to run the new string in parallel with existing.
Same for the 3rd and 4th addition.
