Wiring panels to inverter

I have 6 panels in series on the roof, and a growatt inverter in the basement. My first idea would be to just strip off some 14-2 romex and put on some mc4 connectors then toss the roll off the roof then drill a hole in my house, and pull it through then make the appropriate connenctions to the inverter.

But I know that's probably not right, I should get some 3/4" conduit and attach it to the house and pull the wire through, but what happens when the wire comes out of hte conduit on the roof into the junction box, that makes the mc4 connectors.

Also the panels are next to each other, which spans 20', so i'll have one wire at one end, and the other 20' away, so I probably need extension's for the mc4 wire.

Also these are 240w panels, totaling 1440w, the voc is 222v, so that's 6.5a, so white 14-2 romex should be fine?

Yeah, got that. I need to see how to go from the pv wires to a junction box.
