ZKETECH EBC-A40L loading and viewing .csv data without unit?

I'm trying to load the .CSV files from Andy (offgrid garage) into the EB Tester software V1.8.5 (I don't have the unit yet).

I've tried both the old and new files he provides. Difference is in the header of the files.

What I've tried is to download the .CSV files, in the software I've choosen File -> Open data -> Curve Type is V-A-Second. And then in the new window that pops up I've selected File -> Open Data and selected Andys .cvs file. But there's no visible curves? Only the header info from the .csv file is presented in the bottom of the window.

Any clue as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hi,
Own the A20 since 2days came across the same issue. Looks like the software doesn't know the correct file structure?

I have the exact same problem. I have tried on different computers with different curves from Andy but no success in displaying any curves.
Did you found something to fix the problem ?

I just fired up my new ZKETECK EBC40L to test my brand new EVE 280 cells. I can set up the Charge:Wait:Discharge parameters in the software, hit START and the tester will start the test but I don't get a graph or any real time data flow on the computer. The display on screen and computer show it charging at 40 amps but that's all....it seems that others are having similar issues. I can't see where I can change any settings to fix this. Does anyone have a solution?

New Information:
I exited the software, restarted the program and it seems to be working fine. I have 17 new EVE cells but I think that I will do a capacity test on 4 of them. It's a long process, since I don't know what state of charge they arrived at. All except one cell arrived at 3.304v, the other was at 3.303v. I guess that when I do a full charge to 3.65v I will get some idea as to what 3.304v means as far as a state of charge. Once I get one cell fully charged I can do a reasonable estimate of the total time it would take to cycle test all 17 of them. Right now I'd guess 17 days unless I get a bigger discharge load than the what the ZKE will allow.

I know that there are better threads on the forum to discuss purchasing cells but for now the cells I bought were from GOBEL (Ellie was the rep I dealt with). They arrived in about 9 weeks, but for 5 of those weeks they were sitting at Canadian Customs. The batteries were well packaged and in perfect condition, QR code had a "B" stamped on it which I was aware of. The cells are not bloated, and to my surprise had laser welded studs. The labels say that each cell's resistance is less than .25 mOhms. And as mentioned above, the voltages matched, just as promised. So far, no surprises. Now on to capacity testing.

Does anyone want to help the development of the MegaCellMonitor with the EBC-A40L? Currently the MegaCellMonitor support EBC-A20 and EBC-X chargers of ZkeTech. What is needed? 1. Laptop connected to the EBC-A40L 2. Serial to Ethernet software (which i can provide) 3. 1 or 2 weeks of...

I've done this and it works just fine. What OS are you and @DrCoolZic using?
I just tested it in a brand new install of win 10

What is this? https://www.megacellmonitor.com/ that?
You do the software? I can give you full access to a machine with it. No internet. (you'd have full remote access to the machine and able to transfer files to it)
1 or 2 weeks of...
could do it 1-2 years for all I care
If you open source the software..
Otherwise if you're selling the software and keeping it proprietary, you can buy the device.

Hi,
@gotbeans Can you make your file available for testing?

I've had the same problem for a long time, like everyone here. I have tested with Windows 10, Windows 11, different versions. I wrote to support, they sent me some installer, but version 1.8.5, but nothing helped. When I load the chart I have straight lines and so with every chart made.

yea did you watch the video I uploaded? that is the file from the guy's website
it is the "100Ah LFP Charge Curve Data"

the windows 10 there is from the microsoft site.. the trial iso ... it's a virtual machine, nothing else installed
I wonder if there's some software people have that breaks it somehow? no idea about it. All I know is I've tested it on a few default installs and it works fine.
I have never tested it full screen though.. I guess I will see if it works LOL
edit: yea seems to work fine in full screen too. I tested several different things, different sizes and also changed the input name when the file opens. All seems to work.

Thank you for files.
I've seen the film but didn't associate what and how. I am not very familiar with your forum and did not associate the video with this person - sorry.
In my case, the file you posted shows absolutely nothing. I have virtually nothing.
I don't know what software is causing this, but it's getting weird already. This app is a failure, it works terribly randomly.

And the worst thing is that there are probably several versions of 1.8.5 and it is not clear what the differences are because there are no logs or history.

I checked on a virtual machine with W10 where only this program is installed with the version you show in the video. Nothing, white screen :/

That's so weird lmao
If I setup a virtual machine you want to remote connect into it and install it and see if it works?

What do you use, win 10 LTSC or the base win 10 image from microsoft?
You're in poland I assume you have the "N" version?
What language is it installed in? perhaps I should get that version lol

Hi. I went back to the topic and nothing. This windows doesn't work at all on my virtual machine. I tested on W8.1, on W7 and nothing, still problems with comparing graphs.
You have something in your system that I don't have. I even set the English version of the system, it doesn't change anything. This software is truly a disaster. It only works for the chosen few.
Can you send the disk of this virtual machine? I would connect it to my virtualbox, maybe it would work that way. It is clear that the system without a key etc.

I haven't used virtualbox in like 15 years, but by now I've tested every version of windows and they all work.
Looks like you'd need to take my kvm-qemu image and convert it, even if it was RAW. What format do you want? https://www.qemu.org/docs/master/system/images.html
As the vdi says version 1.1 that is like .. 20 years old not sure if they mean the vdi version or virtualbox version there

I was also trying to check out the CSV files and was met with a blank graph. Tried a Win 10 VM and was met with the same result.

The fix! Looks like it has to do with regional settings. I changed Country to United States and regional format to English (United States) and the graph works now.

Start>Set Regional Format

Thanks!
Just a decimal point instead of decimal comma.
