(SOLVED) Solving the climate control crises

Nobody ever mentions anything about that guy cramming his mini split outdoor unit against his RV. Don't all mini split instructions say the outdoor unit should be mounted at least 12" from a wall. Cramming it against the RV has to kill the efficiency.
Unless its hung on the wall elevated from the ground (then mine allowed 6" i think).

Midea now has a two hoser, inverter technology, with compressor heat. https://www.amazon.com/Midea-Conditioner-Dehumidifier-sq-ft-works-Assistant/dp/B091CKVY9F
It is re-branded as a Toshiba, which is white and about $100 cheaper.
Single tube portables make a low pressure inside the house which sucks in the outside hot air.
Oh that's amazing. I wonder how the efficiency compares to those mythical Mitsubishi units.

Would be nice to have the whole unit inside for stealth purposes.

Let’s be honest though…
No WAY he assembled that unit correctly, any seasoned tech knows the front panel has to be assembled last. Dropping the shroud on with the panel attached is a sure way to break the control panel.

That's what you went with?

I'd have said no seasoned tech would have bothered to repair a $130 air conditioner.

Yes, but the test wasn’t about repair. All the units appeared new… the test was about skill and knowledge of the components of the unit.

That’s how I parsed it too.

Seemed like a joke about blindfolded firearm disassembly and reassembly, but with an air conditioner ?instead

Freakin flammable refrigerants!

Yeah... I'd love to see someone reclaim, unsweat, reassemble, nitrogen flow, rebraze, evacuate, etc... blindfolded...

That sounds… dangerous….. lol!!

maybe if they have really good ultrasonic hearing they can hear all the leaks and address them in real-time ?

I got the ICECO 60QT on Indiegogo coming in November boys however I missed the AC200 MAX Bluetti Preorder!! I was very sad as I had waited for that new Bluetti for like 5 months and then I was one day late on preordering mine :( would have come in november too. I'd be willing to buy someone's AC200P if they're selling one though lol...

Wow. I wondered how someone could hide this!

I’m definitely going to do this on my other van build!

Well… don’t expect full capacity or efficiency from that design… massively limited airflow, and recirculating air will cut down life, and output…

Wait until they unveil their bro-tastic setup for heating…?

Nah if you give it enough space it will be fine and it’s not really recirculating air when he separated it from the interior with sealant. This is genius considering you would have to strap that to the back of your van giving away all the stealth strapping an ugly mini split to the back of your van.

These also take care of heating.

If anyone finds a better way to keep an interior of a van in room temperature with solar that doesn’t involve a mini split not previously mentioned in this thread I’m all ears. Needs to use between 70-130 watts like the one above with 38 SEER to realistically run off of solar easily. :)

My ICECO 3 in 1 60QT prototype finally came!

I did finally find 3 panels that fit inside the rails for my Odyssey also! Ordering them now.
