Lol yeah I’m not expecting the Daly to balance it fast but Amazon screwed me and didn’t get the balance board here. F’n assholes.
paid for overnight shipping of the balance boards... got 4 day…
So I finally got the bms wired up to my shore power supply and the LFP charger that can do 50A charging.
right now I have it on half power 120v 25A and I’m getting stats out of the Daly bms.
No faults seen yet. We’ll see how they balance. I have a 5A balance board coming soon but right now...
Yeah that's pretty much why I got the P30. There's a non-BT version that supports 35A output. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a 120v->24v charger too.
These chargers are for high end rc helicopters and stuff like that but 24v 35a is still 24v 35a :)
I bought a mean well 75A power supply that'll do something crazy like input 76-250v and outputs at 27-30v dc. Then I'm sending that through a isdt dc-dc P30 charger that you can parallel the outputs on to get 24v 50A charging out of (or whatever charging current you want). You *could* just run...
This. Never pay for things in China using your PayPal account. Always pay with your credit card and no account logged in. You can still use PayPal that way but you’re dealing with your credit card if there’s a problem instead of PayPal.
if you charge back a card while it was a transaction tied...
I had that happen to me on another place and I disputed it and got refunded. They then tried to reused a charge ID to recharge me the difference they thought they should be able to keep and I got them an absolute smackdown from the attorney general of my state. Fortunately, I was smart enough to...
If it's a LPG or NG water heater it needs 120v to keep power to the unit and sense when to start the flame.
My suggestion to people that really want to have hot water when on solar power only would be to get one of the portable RV units that run from 20# propane tanks. You'll get about...
Honestly, for me it was mostly because of convenience and peace. If you have a large generator then it's going to use fuel in a tank and that tank has to be huge. A couple years ago I was running to the gas station to fill up another 20 gallons of gas for my generator because we were in an...
If you catch the flexible panels on sale Renogy will let you stack coupons on top of the sale and you can get the cost of the 175watt panels down to about $260-265. I bought 6 of them for my ultralight diy RV project.
Let me know if anyone wants me to shoot some video showing what they're like...
That's interesting. I thought Renogy was a Canadian firm although with regards to both I'd bet they're all made in China or at least mostly assembled there.
I've been looking around at charge controllers for my 1050watt setup with 3s2p 175watt Renogy flexible panels to charge a 272ah Lishen 24v bank to go in a small camper.
I'd like to have bluetooth but it's not a deal breaker if it doesn't have it. I'm hoping to keep costs down but still have...
