Greetings, sorry to be a late comer here.
living in exactly 400sq feet in NE Alabama, and I use a hybrid system of 120v, 24v, and 12v. My packs are 8s LiFePO4 and feed a fuse box directly which powers usb chargers and cig lighter adapter outlets. Just be careful some cig lighter plugs aren't...
Working on my first pack myself rn, ordered 52 cells from China direct, a 250A BMS, and some lug connectors. I took 8 of them for immediate capacity gratification and the other 44 are at a grid connected friend's house getting a cycle test to verify I didnt get ripped off. So far so good.
I just reset my Midea U so I could run a meter test. Peak start up was 2.71A on 122v and slowly crept up to 5.6a.
agree with Nola_castle these units are absolutely amazing
I have changed my parameters, except for system voltage, several dozen times and never disconnected sufficient to call it a reboot until I made a wiring change. Making small changes to the charging parameters took instantly upon upload or saving from the MT50 before I started running them in...
Some immediate suggestion I could offer is to find a small cooler to move the medication to so the kiddo doesn't go foraging it and losing your trapped cold. Out of reach, out of sight, out of mind.
secondly I do believe that you are lacking the solar intake necessary to run the refrigerator...
Unless my software is old, my 8420an over USB to PC only gives voltage options in 12v increments up to 48v, and "auto". However i could always go in and adjust all of the charge parameters of my 8s LiFePo4 setup manually.
Yes but still the motors in the unit are ~300v as I mentioned earlier. This item also shows unavailable, and there are no efficiency specs. It also does not help me being on 24v. I would love to find a programmable inverter that could go 24v-300v dual inverter and PWM fan with good efficiency...
Just wanted to add to Hedges awesome answer.
Can also buy 24v elements, I ordered 2 900w 24v elements off Aliexpress and they work fine. You cant use the internal thermostat directly going this route, will need a contactor and thermostat seperately but it does unload the inverter. I found my...
Looking for some copper flat stock to use for bus bars. Can go up to 3" wide, up to 1/4 thick (atleast 1/8) , need 6 pieces 21" length and 2 12". Can cut and drill etc just need that much to do the job.
Also need a plate, at least 1/8 upto 1/4, 4" x 10".
Does not have to be new and IDC what...
You could also try a hard start kit to get your amps down. I know it sounds counter productive but they do usually bring the start amps down with a capacitor and a hysteresis relay. They are often suggested for older-tired compressors. I've also seen some soft starting kits that replace the...
Howdy folks
I am trying to find a decent tankless water heater for my off-grid tiny house. Has to be propane, and will only serve to back-up my custom 24v 50gal electric tank water heater when the sun doesnt come out for a few days at a time. I know Amazon and a bunch of other retailers are...
