After a few years of being exposed to all kinds of weather the weather proof gasket deteriorated And when opened I saw this. Looks like it’s inside the fuse.
may want to check you water proof boxes.
I currently have all victron gear , the multiple plus 120x2 at 300va does not cut at times. I need a bit more. Thinking about 3K per side. I like the assist functionality and ability to limit input when in a 20 amp current.
Don’t want dual inverters as it has its own set of issues when going...
I have 4, 100ah battery’s in parallel. These have built in Bluetooth.
the A.O. Lithium app will not show the correct battery percentage left between all batteries.
only when fully charged will I get 100% on all 4 battery’s.
when I’m not able to fully charge, on solar only. i get some saying...
Bringing solar panel wire to box with 10 gauge wire, about 5 feet. Then I have about 30 feet to the fuse box, solar controller. I want to switch to 6 gauge wire but can’t find a terminal block that handles that size. Any recommendations.
this is for a 5th wheel RV setup.
I am new to solar, have a portable system, 2 ,
100 watt panels and a PWM charge controller (Renogy voyager 20 amp)
panels (Eclipse) say Vmp 17.7 and Imp 5.7A
would I get much better efficiency is I went with a MPPT controller?
or is it not worth it. Does Renogy Make good products? If I change...
I currently have a 12 volt victron multiplus II x 120 x2
I want to go 24 volts and get 3K on both sides of my RV. I don’t want to do dual inverters. Wondering
if any company makes something similar to the victron but higher power for RV 50 amp service.
I want to go with about 600 watts and a 40 amp controller.
because it’s on the roof, I am thinking all parallel panels for less shading effect, thoughts?
trying to decide on small 100 watt or larger 150 watt panels. If I do 100 watt I need 6 and thought of a 2 series 3 parallel. If 150 watt I...
Victron smart solar controller switch is default to position 2 for battery configuration.
I have gc2 deep cycle and not sure what position is best.
herer is the page from the book
3.5 Configuration of the controller
Fully programmable charge algorithm (see the software page on our website)...
As I look at different panels I see this 200 watt panel with a VOC of 45v. Most others are in the low 20v range.
I am guessing it’s how the internal cells are wired?
would this be better or worse for a shaded location...
What do you think if these kits, like this;
