I just purchased one and I’m genuinely confused.
First off..no manual. Just a pamphlet with information on how to add 10 growatt axe batteries together.
Secondly….the batteries connection should be flipped if I were the designer.
You need to squish your communication cable to get the massive...
Thankyou for all of this information.
I’m going to mount them at a 45° angle now.
Easy enough.
Should I only hook 5 of these panels up in the event that it gets cold or should I disconnect one panel once it gets below 50°F outside?
The 2x4 fire blocking needs to be installed every 4’ of every wall bay. It’s not the most fun part about building homes but one of the most crucial in my opinion.
If you put sheet rock up in a new garage you need to spackle and tape the joints and fill any holes with fire caulk by code.
The...
Can I use 2 gauge thhn for a negative battery cable?
Or is this too rigid?
It’s from from growatt 6k inverter to eg4 lifepower4 battery it’s a 50 inch length I need
Looking at the big box stores
If you bought a 12k inverter let’s say a growatt. You’re looking at roughly $2,000 for it to arrive at your door.
Many other inverters out there.
Battery bank size would depend on how long you plan to weld for.
I would assume you’re going to be welding the thickest materials on the highest...
I was given some Golden information I think… I’m gonna Take a pencil sharpened on both sides and use it to connect the Battery+ with inverter +.
Using the graphite in the pencil as a capacitor? Worth a shot.
Hello fellow solar enthusiasts, I’ve got a head scratcher on this fine sunny New York day.
I’m noticing that I’m using my generator to top
My battery off daily and I’d like to fix that.
I charge the battery to %99 SOC at night with the generator and by the morning it’ll be at around %70 SOC...
Muriatic acid can be found at any masonry supply. It’s what we use to clean trowels.
We just spray em with wd40 after though. Not sure about any jelly lol ?
Hello. This may be a silly question but I noticed float voltage is set at 54.0v by default with my growatt 6k AIO inverter.
It is setable.
I’m wondering if I should change this setting?
Eg4 batteries spec sheet states 56.5v.
I have one of these batteries and one growatt 6k all in one inverter.
I’m assuming I have the same pre charge circuit issues as the eg4 batteries. It’s either that or my battery has an internal defect.
I was expecting this system to work and I was told by manufactures that it would.
This...
I actually needed this for several different reasons. One involving my perpetual motion downhill/uphill bicycle track. If anyone wants to see big jumps let me know
You know I totally believe that and you put it into a good perspective.
I understand better now.
I can verify the quality of the outside of the unit by pictures. This is where he stopped responding. I’m gonna reach out again tomorrow. I’m pretty annoyed
The container was born in 1997 same with me. It’s been sitting in hiding at a port since 2000.
I bought it in 2020.
No crawlies were found but I do spray every year under around and inside.
Reset procedure is similar. Instead of holding the bms reset like Will showed in the video. With this growatt AXE c-1 you just press it once and then the battery powers off and you get one flash of a green light on the RUN/ALARM light.
I’m assuming this means the reset was successful.
Power...
Architecturally these are beautiful.
They look like they’re engineered to the fullest extent possible.
Awesome to look at.
Love it.
I still might do it one day. Who knows.
The other question I have if you could help is setting 12 and 13 on the growatt 6k AIO
My previous settings were %30 and %100
Should I change this to say %25 and %99
This is the default setting for an agm battery. Which I do not have.
This shows me the inverters charger works and I can provide output.
As soon as I switch the settings to LI in setting#5 I get the red light and annoying beep.
hello all.
i just purchased a growatt spf 6000t dvm-mpv.
i also purchased a growatt AXE 5.0L battery.
its scheduled to arrive this monday so ill be playing with it more and getting it mounted.
i used a solar calculator off of santansolar.com to figure out that i need 5 -300watt panels...
Thankyou for that information. I need to install an earth ground. I’ve heard they’re 6’ deep. My shipping container is sitting on a giant Boulder basically so any ideas on how to get a ground in would be appreciated. I have about 3’ of soil before the massive Boulder
This is the data sheet from the panels I’m going to buy tomorrow.
Growatt specs are attached as well.
I’m buying 8 of these.
I’m assuming they’d get hooked up in series but I need to sit down and do some math first.
S.s. Recommended the 2 gauge actually and that’s what I purchased from them. I made a mistake when designing everything though so now I’m a little short and I’m gonna wait until I fix this to power on again.
I do not yet lol
My loads are minimal.
I have 400watts total with everything running...
