  • Hey Oldphile,
    Thanks for the insights. May I ask where in NH you are? Or sorry to be so personal, are you up north or in the mountains? I just ask about snow loads and panel placement. Do your panels get covered with snow in winter? What angle or degree are they at?
    I will enclose some pictures of my setup for better understanding.

    I'm north of Rochester NH, but south of what they call the lakes region. Snow load rating for roofs here is quite high. I have a 6/12 pitch roof. This is my first year. Snow on the panels was not an issue. Once the sun shone, the snow would shed within hours. I have a SSW roof. Not a real term but probably SSSW.
