I'm going to be testing a few different 100ah batteries....Specifically, I'd like to test that they can support a constant discharge of 100 amps. I could hook up a large inverter and plug in a few loads but I was wondering if there is a better way. I could use one of these but it only goes up...
OK. That makes more sense. I was thinking it was a cheap relay connection or something like that. It's showing the same voltage when switching the leads. Thanks for explaining that. ?
I have tried 1 through 19... For the battery brand numbers. None of them are showing the correct number of batteries in parallel but some of them do show the battery capacity.
Because this works with the eg4 LL V2 batteries, it seems like it might be a bug with the Ruixu batteries.
So from my understading if I give it 8000w and it will produce 4000w? is that right? i'm fine with that. I trust your opinion. I'm mainly wanting extra power power on cloudy days. it sound like I'm safe to give it 8000 Watts w/o breaking things.
If you're staying on the grid, Have you thought about what types of permits you'll need? Do you know what permits you'll need? Do you plan on back-feeding the grid?
Something to be aware of - The solark 15k does great on grid but it doesn't handle unbalanced loads when it's running off grid...
Sounds like an interesting project. If you're in the United States I have emailed the gw support team and they have gotten back to me. Granted it was after a few days. usaservice@ginverter.com. if you email them they might be able to forward the question to some of their Developers.. you May...
My house gas furnace(120 volts ac) has the following start up process:
Step 1) small vent fan turns on and to clear out any combustion gases before attempting to light burners ( around 20 seconds ).
Step 2) Burners attempt to light for 3 seconds.(Gas flowing an spark ignition)
Step 3a) After...
I'm not sure I fully understand the question. Are you writing code on the ESP32 to connect to the growatt over a Bluetooth connection? How are you connecting to the growatt? Bluetooth?
I had a Growatt lvm 3000 48P and a single lifepower4 48v 5.12kwh battery. I was able to plug my 30a RV into the growatt and could start and run my Air Conditioner just fine. I could run the air conditioner with only the battery connected and no solar. 31 amps inrush current coming out of the...
I would think that measuring the Short circuit current(ISC) would detect a bad cell... at least on a sunny day, because the short circuit current would read lower. I know the bypass diodes would still send current but a full row of cells would still be bad the output reading would still be low.
I am installing a bunch of panels in parallel. For simplicity let's just say I'm installing 10 100 Watt single panels in parallel. It is my understanding that I need a fuse between each parallel panel to prevent back-feeding a panel just in case the said panel has a short. Doesn't a...
I thought that you shouldn't charge LiFePO4 Batties below freezing temperatures. But I'm not sure what to believe anymore because...
- this site/company says that it's possible: "When charging lithium iron phosphate batteries below 0°C (32°F), the charge current must be reduced to 0.1C and...
Yeah the MPP voltage range is 120 to 250. That is odd because you can never get up to the working voltage of 250 volts DC without having a higher than 250 voltage open circuit...Odd I don't understand it.
Yeah, the ground neurtal resistance is definitely the issue. The flame USUALLY turns on and then turns off. I would post a video of that process but it isn't super consistent the way it fails. I even was lucky enough to have it fully start on the growatt... but that was like 1 in 20 attempts...
I have installed 2 server rack batteries in my 5th wheel. I secured them with water heater earthquake straps. Here's a picture of when I only had one installed(and before I added the earthquake straps)
I have a growatt 3000 lvm 48p. It appears that my ground neutral bond screw is not doing anything. I believe if I remove the ground screw it should remove the ground neutral Bond. Also the bond between ground and neural is a weak bond (with resistance)
Here a link to a video showing the issue...
I have the growatt 3000 LMV 48es with the following specs:
Max PV Input: 4,000W
Max Charging Current: 80A
Max MPPT Operating Voltage 250VDC
It's my understanding that going over the MPPT Operating Voltage is the biggest factor that break things so i'm designing my 4 solar panel arrays...
