I have a growatt 3000 lvm 48p. It appears that my ground neutral bond screw is not doing anything. I believe if I remove the ground screw it should remove the ground neutral Bond. Also the bond between ground and neural is a weak bond (with resistance)

Here a link to a video showing the issue:

i am running my inverter with my battery connected only... no ac input.

I live in the United States and bought this unit from a US distributer (signature solar).

Is this a known issue? Is anyone else seen this behavior when you remove your ground screw? Is anyone else seen the weak ground neutral Bond when the screw is in place? Maybe i got a bad unit?

Thanks for any feedback.

Maybe that's the wrong ground screw.
I'm not sure where it's located in the 3000.

It's got to be the right one. There is a picture of a screw and a ground symbol right next to it. Grow what also sent me a screenshot of its location. 20230314_111741.jpg

There are several "ground screws" on the various boards. Only one is the bonding screw.
But, if Growatt says that's the right one. Then , maybe it is. I would still verify that the connection you are reading isn't coming from the cord.

Okay I removed those cords completely and I'm still seeing the same behavior. I wonder if this is an issue with all the growatts of this model or just mine.

Not sure, as I have the 5000 models.
But, I don't remember anyone else commenting about it.

I would think you could just hardwire neutral to ground externally.
If never used with shore power, don't think there is a need for dynamic bonding.

you may be checking NG on the AC-input, should check on AC-Output with AC-IN disconnected

I sent growatt support the video. They just got back with me. Apparently this model doesn't have a ground neutral Bond. ?

That would explain why I haven't seen any comments about it. Check voltage from L to ground.

I have a 3000TL LVM also and there was no G-N bond. On mine you need to jump the neutrals from AC In/Out in order to retain the bond from grid main service panel if that is your AC input source.
