Some of the others here may have a better updated answer but from what I have heard is that load 2 settings are not implemented yet on the firmware. It would be called smart load I believe when it is available.

Hey all, what settings do I need to set to get to the inverter to use the batteries when there’s no PV down to 80% state of charge, then use the grid at that point?
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

All are the same except I am charging the battery at 50A and grid % is 100
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

What you say makes sense. I think once I get more on my loads panel it will work better.

Would you please also ask them when they will be adding generator 2 wire start support?
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

So I just found a snag. It seemed like everything was working fine until the batteries were fully charged. Then the inverter limited the PV input instead of putting the power back to the grid. Can anyone tell me if there’s a setting I am missing to achieve this?
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Has anyone that runs this inverter non grid connected, tried running L1 and L2 unbalanced to see if it turns off like a Deye/Sol-ark?

Try to move the .axf and .out file to your desktop. Rename the file to something simple like 1.axf and 1.out. Right click on that steam application and run as admin. Upload to the program.
  • Post in thread: GSL/Deye hybrid inverter.

Did you get the inverter with the same color touch screen as DEYE or did you get something else?
  • Post in thread: GSL 8k non DEYE installation help! (Megarevo??)

Did you order it from GSL or another place?
  • Post in thread: Hybrid inverter main panel wiring, grid through inverter only?

I didn’t really need to add the generator, I just was referring to that type of lockout as a generator lockout
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

I just received GSL hybrid 8k version expecting it to look like the Deye inverter and software they show on Alibaba.com. Apparently it is not a Deye inverter but a copy that is made by GSL. It does not have the same screen/ software or instructions. I have attached the listing I placed though...

Do you mind posting what you paid with shipping?
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

I had mine at that, still using the grid to charge after PV is done. I have also tried 50% for that.
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Did you make sure the voltage settings are right on lead acid? You would think it would be based off of voltage like you said in that mode
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

I’m hoping I can get this to work like that or I’ll have to make some kind of mechanical disconnect to remove the grid and reconnect when needed.
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Further example, if I have the battery disconnected the PV will dump full current into my loads which currently I am just running my garage so little to no usage, the rest of the power is returned to the grid. When the batteries are connected, all bms info is displayed on the inverter correctly...

This is the one I am using.
  • Post in thread: GSL 8k non DEYE installation help! (Megarevo??)

I think the color one they have on youtube would have been the Deye inverter the "used" to sell to the USA. Apparently they will have another one soon with a color screen. Not sure what the actual brand is they will be using. They also claimed this Megarevo one they sent me was also an GSL made...
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Correct, we are saying the same thing about the grid power, but what I am getting at is what you asked earlier about the SA going to the main panel. If you are grid tied, you should/ NEED a way to stop current from back feeding the grid when the grid power is down if you are connected to the...
  • Post in thread: GSL 8k non DEYE installation help! (Megarevo??)

That was pretty much the same price as I paid. All in all, this inverter works well. I just wish it was a little nicer looking on the outside like the Deye inverters and had more support and following like Deyes also.
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

This is what I just changed it to today, mine was the same as your yesterday.
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

It does have some bugs but for its price point and features it’s a lot of bang for the buck. I’d buy again
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

I have the one sold by GSL but it just has Megarevo specs sticker and model number. Nothing says GSL on it. I have not tried anything non grid connected. I’m not sure it will even produce from PV without a battery. Haven’t tried though. Still waiting on batteries.
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Correction, the grid connection would go off and turn off the inverter or change it to EPS mode. You would need to also hook the loads side to your main panel with that mechanical disconnect to make sure the grid feed to the inverter and the main to the power meter are disconnected. Sorry that's...
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

My battery bank shows 99% SOC. This is what the inverter shows
  • Post in thread: GSL 8k non DEYE installation help! (Megarevo??)

While running that mode, with grid connected, and then disconnecting the grid, did you run into any power loss issues? Or did it automatically switch without loss?

  • Post in thread: GSL 8k non DEYE installation help! (Megarevo??)

Have you tried the new firmware to see if it fixes that?
  • Post in thread: Megarevo RxLNA Discussion

Firmware arm: v1.03.06 DSP: v1.04.06 Your settings are pretty identical to mine but there isn’t a discharge current setting with this firmware. I think you are correct with the D and C induction. I should just update the firmware but I’m a little reluctant, with how things go with this...
