Sorry out of the country ATM so haven't been so active .
They're pretty monstrous 50% heavier than a typical 400w I'm pretty sure china just use SEAsia as a testing grounds there's very little difference in price to the smaller panels so your obviously just gonna buy big rather than try look...
Don't start adding unknown Chinese resistors to an Asian grid supply your likely to get yourself or someone else killed.
I've had voltage spikes of 900v plus when something has happened to the grid here, either find a ground on the building or add your own( ask landlord permission to place...
I'll take a look not 100% on if the pzem DC meter can interpret direction of current flow but you've atleast given me something I can look at tyvm
Edit: yes the pzem DC does record current flow direction
I honestly don't know where you could buy a single PV cell for as much as he's quoting maybe he mistyped 5,000 PHP as 50,000 a 600w longi is about 5000.
Used M18 for almost 20 years I guess the first combi drill I bought was brushed think I replaced the brushes a good few times and the gearbox eventually packed in about 10 years ago next drill packed in a week out of warranty newer stuff wasn't built like that but it's still not bad.
Moved to...
Yes there's a ton of multiplying filters if I remember correctly just had a quick look at the code for voltage and it's somehow offset by current input but not clever enough to work out how.
lambda: |-
if (!id(grid_active).state) {
return 0.0;
}
return swapBytes(x)...

Thanks this was where I was confused I was thinking it was for motor switching.
That's what I was thinking and by using each side a common dry contact relay used on many esp projects(NC/NO) you have in theory taken care of the safety aspect rather than having individual outputs control each...
Earthworms likely drown here, high water table and high likelihood of flooding that's why I was thinking about the coils in my earlier post. It's mainly tobacco and paddy fields here.
If you dig a hole here it will likely be a pond, though ATM with the rainfall you don't even need to dig a hole...
Only now during summer though as we head to winter the sun will drastically drop to the south and in theory we should get better producing days in winter as there's less cloud cover and no rain.
Would explain alot if the connector wasn't fully seated and makes sense looking at the way the connector is in the first photo posted by op there's a distinct ring of carbon rather than just melting, suggesting there was an air gap inside.
Here we have both on-grid/hybrid and off-grid hybrid on grid being grid tied but has a battery, off-grid/hybrid being one that's off-grid but can import grid power not export it.
From my pov and the terminology used in Thailand/China and off-grid hybrid perfectly suits his needs I use one as a...
Likely anywhere from 100-300ft I'm still undecided on where I'm building the room one position has good shading and lays directly beneath our incoming grid power the other spot is closer to the fields but requires a fair bit of alterations to the farms main lines.
Just to put an end to this thread and quell any disinformation, the numbers were all booked by my poor understanding.
The AIO efficiency is 100% minus 20w for actually running the inverter (not solar efficiency), within the code I'd written for efficiency I'd forgotten to take into account AC...
Sorry I really know very little about parallel connections and how different panels behave to help, I understand that amperage increases in parallel but that's about it.
No I wouldn't even say it's someone angry as from what I can see the destruction is fairly small, as I said earlier it just looks like someone drunk or high found a skid steer with the keys in and just went "GTA M*****F*****" proceeding to yeet said skid steer through whatever he could find.
No idea about that maybe if I get that far but I'll likely just stick to AiO's I have a few 10amp epever tracers running 12v for Arduino/esp and solenoids for irrigation but they are pretty basic.
I'm not using the term SRNE is and after looking it seems there's no 120v versions so that's likely why you've never heard the term off-grid/hybrid they aren't available in the US.
Sorry OP seems my suggestion can't work in the US
I use the Powmr modbus registers found below for esphome https://github.com/odya/esphome-powmr-hybrid-inverter/blob/main/docs/registers-map.md
though I'm also having issues changing parameters will look into it further Ty guys
I know it's for esphome but if you take a look at this it might give you some answers the modbus info is under src/modules/inverter.

Hey everyone I'm concerned about charging current on my AIO and was curious if this was normal behaviour.
I have a 160ah FLA battery connected for reference.
So I have selected 10amp charge current on the AIO but the modus is reporting a charge current of 18amps is there something wrong here or...
What I mean is unless you can source a decent 15kw+ inverter you will have to split the loads between multiple smaller inverters so planning that would be checking what items are essential IE cooker,lights,sockets on first inverter shower, AC units etc on second also if your aiming for solar...
Only pointing out that there's no washers between the busbar there's plenty of other things have been mentioned, though personally I would have added some spring washers to the rear between the bolt head and the bus bar. From the above photo it shows some annealing between the connector and...
Anything sensitive has redundancies and due to the excellent 3rd world power here we have multiple spd`s i had a spike of 900v only a few weeks ago and 11kv sometime last year when a drunk decided to play chicken with a power pole, didn't know you could fold a 2ft square concrete pole with a...
Thailand has a max 5kw limit for on-grid and our max peak usage is 4kw though typically we average around 1kw so I doubt I would go much bigger maybe a 8kw on grid and max tie of 5kw output but I'm still wrapping my head around where to fit the strings and how im going to cool it all.
My wife's cousin(next door neighbour) is very much into experimenting everyone calls him "Big science" even though he is relatively rich by Thai standards he always does things on the cheap. He managed to get a large quantity of 200w poly solar cells from a nearby solar farm that was being...
🤷No idea but its an off-grid inverter capable of taking an ac input so seems to fit op's use case don't really care what they call it (magic sunshine machine)as long as it does what it needs too.
Edit you think that's confusing they advertise 3 types here on-grid/hybrid, off-grid/hybrid and...
I might be wrong here but 3 phase in the UK would work differently to how many forum members use it in the US, to get a single phase 240v you have to link phases then buck that down to the desired 240 aswell as balance each phase. It's not the same as pulling 120v single phase from a 380v 3phase...
Also just to point out, this thread has been here since may and had no replies until today and very few views.
I would suggest looking at other platforms he might have posted on as i doubt you reputation has been seriously affected from this thread on this forum.
Don't quite understand this but I'll be running with a battery so don't think it applies
Does this apply to the S6? the manual shows as below, I doubt I will parallel as 5kw is the maximum grid tie were allowed here but it's worth considering who knows what the future may bring.
The Huawei...
How long do you need to run and do you have line of sight between the two locations? I'm inclined to suggest something like the tp-link CPE range it's point to point wifi so unlikely to have frequency issues like power line extenders.
Op's original photo actually looks to be scratched off then applied on top then as your suggesting, re-lazered but more confusing to me I why go to all this trouble then use a 11 year old barcode.
It's not de-ionised water, might be good for temps but pretty sure if my bath isn't placed at least 12inches above ground level there will be sparks. I'll get the cooling from stainless coils dropped down if I decide to go ahead (more I look at battery prices, more likely I will).
Once...
I welded a peice of spring steel to a broken sds bit then welded some steel conduit to that took 5mins and about $0.20 of welding rod, might start renting it out if i can get $9 a day for it, any takers?
The issue your likely going to have is the price of a 12v PSU, sub 500w is readily available and cheap (look up Pico PSU) anything bigger starts to get more specialized and far far more expensive. Alot of specialized server room stuff runs off 48v so you could try to look for 2nd hand 48v server...
Hello and welcome to the forums.
I'm sure others will chime in and give you better answers but I'll have a go at it for the time being.
Best bet is get a AiO solar inverter if your intending to wire it yourself.
This obviously allows you to connect solar at a later date but for now will...
Ty I'll take a look but data here is really quite bad as I don't think they have any reference data. So far my 760w ups has produced double any predicted forecasts daily.
You must have a pretty good experience with Chinese service!!
Normally they don't even answer my emails at all.
Not sure what's worse being given the run around or just ignored entirely.
Not sure, here I don't tend to see pride on ones work at all, more pride in the paycheck.
Maybe I'm wrong it's very much monkey see monkey do here, they try to copy building styles or technology without understanding the finer details or engineering behind it.
A good example is the concrete...
Thinking it's more to do with lightning and how well the GFCI works as well as other sensitive equipment, average human resistance for a cardiac event is 400 ohm at 220V so as long as we have a ground well below that it's all good.
Any examples of what would cause a back feed on my off-grid AiO? This seems pretty interesting and since I have so many measuring devices on my home that should be able to measure down to 10mA I'd be interested and willing to experiment with my cheap Powmr AiO.
I can isolate the circuit it's...
