It appears that a breaker i had installed broke. Not tripped but rather broke. So this whole time I thought it was the controller because the breaker was not tripped. Lesson learned i guess.
I have a 12v system, 214amph of battery. I have an induction cooktop hooked up to my 3000 watt inverter. When using other appliances everything is fine, but when using my 1800 watt induction cooktop, it trips my 250 amp breaker. it does this when turned any higher than the medium setting. Is...
I have two 206 SOK batteries in parallel connected to a mppt charge controller with dc-dc.
Recently, when running a 60watt fan, the amp draw will randomly jump up from 4ah draw to 8.5 ah draw and randomly drop to 2.5 ah and back up to 4ah. I can visually see this on my battery monitor screen...

My 50amp dc-dc charger with mppt is not allowing my 460 watts of solar to charge my batteries.
I have it on the correct settings for my battery type. Below is a picture of what my controller is telling me.
they are 12v panels. being the 30w panels and being the 4 100w panels. i will be connecting them via the y branch connectors here: https://www.renogy.com/solar-y-branch-connectors-mmf-ffm-pair/ (i believe they are 30amp)
i have a 50a dcv-dc with mppt charge controller
Im wondering if this setup will work to be able to turn on two lights using two switches.
I want to be able to turn on the lights from two different locations but I have no way of making a three way switch. Will this work? or will it cause a short circuit.
the switch pannel that I already have is only normal switches. I don't want a three way switch. I want to be able to do it this way if possible but don't want to waste my time if it won't work.

I am purchasing 400AH of lithium batteries. I am debating between two Chin 200ah lithiums, two 200ah Mighty Max batteries, or two 200 ah chin low temp batteries that claim to be able to charge at -4 f due to internal heating system. Please let me know what the best option is, or is there a...
I connected my solar panels to my renogy dc-dc charger with mppt charge controller BEFORE connecting them to my batteries. Did i just wreck my charge controller? Now its saying that i have no wattage and no amps coming in.
I have a 414.ah battery bank. Im looking to add a shunt to monitor the energy draw. will a 500 amp shunt be ok? what if I added a battery down the line and had 620AH? the max draw from batteries is 200 amps. however I will not be using that much at once.
also connecting a shunt is right after...
