Thanks for the response.
Seems like the old firmware was limited to 100A.
New firmware defaults to 200A. 2x200A = 400.
This was my confusion since my firmware was so old.
Glad to be up and running at full capacity now.
I've never heard the fans kick on when charging before. Them...
This is what I settled on. It aint pretty but it works.
I will likely get some conduit runs from the battery junction boxes to tidy things up and add a bit of security.
Just noticed that AC coupling now shows up on my graph! Super cool!
I would still love an AC coupling "solar yield" section on the front page...but all of these updates are awesome!
Keep up the good work!
Alright....I get it.
You guys are smarter than NASA and 99% of the world's scientists, it's a global conspiracy to get every scientist on board, and you guys aren't regurgitating the same old fossil fuel strawmen over and over.
I'll be busy going through all of the data you guys have...
robby hasn't seen something, therefor it can't possibly exist. robby is the most dangerous type of person to give advice. \
Ignore robby.
The meter they put on my house can wirelessly talk to them, track everything, and make love to me while I sleep.
Wouldn't the EG4 just shut down once the RSD was hit, stop making "the grid", and the coupled system would just power down like a standard grid-down scenario?
460watt Heilene panels, 10.9A, 42V. 8s setup. I'll click through the settings before connection but glad to hear I can get things up and running safely!
The wife has a Kia Niro. It gets around 24-26 miles on a charge.
I have a volvo xc60 t8 extended. It gets around 30 pure EV miles in the cold and 40 when it's nice. Rated at 35 miles of range and it does average out around there. Perfect for my 20 mile round trip commute every day.
I'm...
The concrete is sealed and humidity is controlled down there. But I was planning on putting it on a "500# moving dolly/platform" to keep it off the floor in case of flooding.
My powerpro has not disappointed with it's anti-ruin itself capabilities thus far. The info came straight from EG4, I knocked 1% off because I'm paranoid.
Oncei ran home from work I restarted the inverter and everything started functioning normally again. Weird glitch. I'll see what happens over the next few days if the sun ever comes out
Sorry I didn't see the second half of your statement.
I don't really want to couple and have another point of failure.... I'm on my third solar edge inverter in the 4-5 years my system has been up and I kinda want the thing off my house.
No problem it took me a bit to work through as well.
You want your AC coupled power running loads and doing its thing during a grid out scenario so you do not want it kicking off low.
Another update:
Lots of goods for us AC coupled folks. Not sure what they mean, but I've been running it all day and so far so good.
FAAB-1A1A
2024-04-22
Same as fAAB-1A1A, changes based on the FAAB-1919.
1.Add 2 minutes of Warmup to the generator microgrid mode.
2. Add split phase voltage...
But then again half of the mouth breathers here know more than NASA so why do they even waste their time with us here? I'm sure they're running calculations on how to land little pieces of coal on the moon right now.
Yes.... These things are 100% the same.
Maybe you need to open up the dictionary and look at some definitions before you "same thing" me and lump yourself in with the trash.
Yep...panels going into the SE7600 for the original "grid tied system", and then a second array I added going directly into the 18kpv.
The larger box to the left of the 18kpv is purely a 200A breaker that I use as my "disconnect" and an extra layer of security between the inverter and the power...
