I have had this installed for 3 or 4 days now and thought I would go though and set the unit up.
I had no problems but when I wanted to reset the unit [setting option28] from pal to to single mode it won't let me.
Reading the manual I don't think it makes any difference because you need hardware support for pal mode.
However I wanted to check and make sure running in parallel mode would do any harm.
So far except for the app the inverter does what I want but I was wondering if I can input my battery size somewhere in the setting's?

Great question Greg I wish someone would answer because I'm about to purchase two of them myself...btw how do you like the unit...also what batteries and panels are you using if you are using solar that is..?

The unit seems to work fine so far except for not being able to connect with the app and not being able to change from pal to sig inverter.
The app is important to me because I am 100% disabled and it cuts down the trips to the shed.
I don't like the very load fan noise either so have decided to move on to the Victron multiplus as funds allow.
At present I am running 3.4 Kw of panels [10 265w Jinko's on the EG4 and 800W on the victron] and since I am running 2 separate systems I have 1200 AH of agm's on the EG4 system and am using 4 100 AH li po's on the victron system I am building.
I am new to solar and just finding what will work and what to do with it.
