Raspberry Pi 4B as monitoring unit for EG4 3000 EHV 48

Q1. Can I connect a Raspberry Pi 4B to the EG4 3000EHV 48 through the RS232 port? I am looking to add the device as a "quick glance" monitoring unit. According to the folks over at Solar Assistant, they have the software setups for the EG4 EX/EHV units. If anyone is running one of these devices to monitor their solar system please advise.

I used the SA Orange Pi to monitor my 3000EHV connected to the RS232 port, yes. No problems at all for me. Just use their recommended cables - either their RS232 USB cable or the Wifi dongle DB9 cable that came with a USB serial cable, which is what I used. https://solar-assistant.io/help/eg4...able WiFi dongle DB9 cable + USB serial cable
