Drained battery issue

I have connected my pack as the picture below. My issue was the first 2 cells of the pattery pack drained to 0 volts and now wont take any charge at all. Can anyone find out whats wrong ?

I’d disassemble it and see if you can do anything with those two cells in isolation, but it doesn’t sound good. Do you have a BMS?

I dont have bms yet. This system worked fine until it didnt. I took these 2 cells apart from the rest of the pack and now im trying to charge them individually.

Is it even possible to recover cells that have drained to 0 volts?

Hopefully they weren't damaged, from running without a BMS.

I would also recommend that you get 2 BMS's and make it 2 8s batteries.

With no BMS you most likely discharged the problem cells to a low voltage. Running a battery without a BMS is a gamble, seems you lost the bet.

Yeah seems so. Lesson learnt. Is there any way restoring cells which won’t hold a charge or I’ll just have to throw them away?

Once disconnected, were the 2 cells measured at 0V ?

Not a good chance for success but if you want to try to recover them, charge VERY slowly but as soon as possible.

yes they measured 0 volts. I hooked them to a charger and let them charge overnight. Right now they show 2 volts, will update tomorrow

Monitor their temperature.
Stop charging if they get warm.

I found that if they feel/sound hollow when you tap on the ends, its a bad sign.

I Managed to get the juice back in to those batteries but i wont run them until i get my balancer
