Growatt SPF 5000 not charging from solar

The system we’re having trouble with has one Growatt SPF 5000 and five EG4 LifePower batteries with about 4,000 watts of solar coming in. This system has worked very well for about a year, until a few weeks ago when we arrived on site to find all of the batteries drained. After updating the firmware on all of the batteries, we restarted the system and the solar charged everything back up to 99%. The next morning, the inverter showed that the batteries were still at 99% (even though they were not), so the solar did not charge. Over the course of two days, we could see that the battery voltage was going down, but the inverter continued to read 99% and the batteries were not charging. We were able to get the inverter to update the SOC and start charging from solar with a few full system reboots, but we’re continuing to see this issue where the inverter is not reading the correct battery SOC and the solar is not charging. It feels like we have a bad inverter here - what should we do to troubleshoot?
