Be aware....Just tried to order $2000 worth of batteries from <vendor> and they rejected my C Card. That produced a Fraud alert and cancelled card.

Look... They have my CC number, exp date and code. Are you that naive?
It is VERY unlikely "THEY" have your credit card info, since most POS equipment made in this century require companies not to save your info.

But even if they do, it doesnt matter, as the card was cancelled...

THEY having your CC info doesnt matter unless they are a fraudulent company scammer trying to take you for funds.

If the company is authentic, they cancelled your transaction when the credit card declined the sale for possible fraudulent activity, then your CC company called you to see if you were attempting to make the purchase or if someone had fraudulently attempted it.

YOU telling the CC company it was not you is what got your card cancelled.

Naive all day long i guess...

I’ve ordered several things from ecoworthy. Ordered on Amazon….. Ordered on eBay….. Ordered direct from Ecco worthy… no problems. They sell products on more then their website.
Got 3 of their ground mounts ~$89 each black friday. I got their solar tracker black friday sale it was several hundred off, got their bifacial 195w solar panels black friday prices to mount on their tracker.
One of my 195w solar panels arrived busted they sent me 2 panels to replace that busted one. I sent email stating they sent extra panel …. they replied - “enjoy…” Got an extra 195w solar panel for free.

Their stuff was super cheap. Their ground mounts stands are basically unistrut and can’t buy it for part sourcing or diy build it cheaper with same components. Their stuff works for everything but tracker. …because It is not out of box - yet….been busy with other things - new building… before it can be setup. Dreading the concrete base mount too. I hate concrete work. Can see the radon gas coming out of it. 🤡

I think the person - OP just panic posted.
Sometimes best leave them talking. 🤡

Oh my... you STILL dont understand what happened...
Im sorry.

Here, let me try this...
I will open a sale on my website, i will charge your card 10,000.00 and you can enter your card info there. your card will deny it. Declining the sale.

Then your card company will call you and ask if YOU initiated the transaction.

If you tell them no, they will cancel your card.

If you tell them yes, they will allow you to go BACK to my website and redo the sale, and it will go through.

I really dont see why you arent comprehending the problem. It is how credit card companies protect their customers...
Are you a Chase employee? I make many multi thousand purchases and Chase has never questioned or called me before this bs transaction.. they suspected this was bogus. You cannot sit back and hypothetically tell me what Chase or whoever pulled this BS would have or did do unless your physic.... Your a farce!

Dude, banks do that all the time. They were doing you a favor in case it WAS bogus. I've had the bank do it, I've had companies do it. It happens.
All you had to do was say yes. You didn't, because you misunderstood what they were asking you. At this point, you can either admit that or continue to be stubborn or low IQ. Choice is yours.

You blew it when you said you didn't make the purchase. NOTHING else you say to them after that matters. Saying you didn't do the purchase will ALWAYS and AUTOMATICALLY cancel your card.

Chase does it, Capitol One does it and even most debit cards do that too.

Most of the callers won't even make idle chit chat with you. They ask one simple thing. Did you make the purchase in question. If you say yes then it goes to whether or not you had enough room on the card or whatever. But if you say no. POOF cards gone.

Ive been in walmart trying to pay a few hundred dollars worth of stuff and the card showed declined. Pissed me off since it had thousands of dollars worth of room it. I wrote a check or used another card (I can't remember how I paid for it but it wasn't the credit card in question).

When I go out the car I noticed my phone had a text message on it. It was the credit card company and they had sent a text message asking me if I was trying to purchase something for x amount of dollars with a yes or no questioned on it. Since I left the phone in the car I didn't get the message in wally world so it was declined. Annoying.

I sent a yes to the message and they called me at that point telling me to try the purchase again now. I explained to the guy it was a little damn late for that.

I’ve spent the last half hour trying to find a clip from The Office when Kevin accidentally gets Pam and Jim’s credit card canceled while they are on honeymoon.
Unfortunately no luck, but this thread is a mirror image

Hmmmm just tried a purchase from MPP Solar using Paypal. Purchase was declined by my bank card and then by my credit card (different bank) which I have listed as paypal payment methods. Both stated Fraud in text notices. Appears as if MPP Solar hit the account for $1 and then the actual amount. It is some kind of preauthorization between the Chinese banking and my USA banks triggering the fraud alerts. My bank said multiple withdraws attempted as reason and locked the bank card until called them. The credit card was not locked just took text as okay. 🤡

I have bought from MPP Solar before. No problems. LATELY Fraud has been real high for online banking…. according to bank customer service. I called them. I had Texted okay for both bank card and credit card when received textS.

I know in the past the credit card - bank card companies have been eating the fraud. Cost more to prosecute then worth - end up losing time and money. So…. Not sure why MPP Solar is doing a double tap with $1 and then Correct amount… but that seems to be the trigger. Again I reset bank card and it happened again. So…. No order to or from MPP Solar. 😡 again worked in the past. Hmmmm

This was a small order under $100.
